Inspiration for a room design can come from anywhere. A piece of artwork, a photograph, textiles… a vacation?
I recently completed a kitchen design plan that was inspired by my client’s tour of a Kelowna Vineyard. With this design the client wanted to recapture the warm, earthy, traditional feeling of the vineyards with a touch of spice!
Working with the existing countertops, Abingdon Putty (HC-99) was selected for refinishing the kitchen cabinets, Olive Branch (2143-30) for the walls, and Spanish Red (CC-92) as an accent colour. To tie it all together this oversized ‘Suzani’ type print, ‘Varenna, Harvest’ (www.tonicliving.com)was chosen for window treatments.
